Over the past months, a selection of my AR collages was on display at De Noordkade in Veghel as part of my solo exhibition. For this occasion, I also created a new artwork that places the iconic location of De Noordkade at its heart.
The building, which is over 100 years old, has a rich and layered history: from animal feed factory to Veghel’s leading cultural hotspot. To give this transformation greater meaning and depth, I coined the slogan ‘Voer voor cultuur’ (Fuel for Culture)
This multi-layered history is brought together in a collage that comes to life through augmented reality. The artwork has since been sold and is expected to find a permanent home at De Noordkade.

Digital communication also gives people more chances to express love and appreciation throughout the day. Yet, it is important to remember that online messages cannot replace deeper emotional understanding. Miscommunication can happen easily without facial expressions or tone of voice. Healthy relationships use online communication as a support, while still valuing honesty, patience, and real conversation.
